About this Event
Running helps reduce stress levels, improves cardiovascular health and is easily accessible to people new to exercise. The goal of our Running Basics workshop is to bring these benefits and the many joys of running to absolute beginners and is designed for people interested in taking up running but are not sure where to start. No experience is required at all.
Conducted by Steph, Baseline Fitness’ Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Certified Run Coach, participants will learn running basics including footfall, breathing, pace and the run/walk method; and get individual feedback on how to improve their run posture. The workshop will be a mixture of theory and practice, and participants will get to try out what they’ve learnt in short practical sessions. By the end, participants will have the confidence and skills to start their own running journeys.
This workshop will last 1hr 15mins and will be held at the 100Plus Promenade, National Stadium.
