About this Event
Join us for a mobility clinic built specifically for runners who want to move better, feel stronger, and stay injury-free. I’m Brian Murray, the founder of Motive Training here in South Austin, and I’ll be leading the session. I’ve spent the last 17 years coaching people through pain, mobility limitations, and performance plateaus, and much of my work focuses on helping runners understand the joints that drive their stride.
This clinic is part of the joint health and mobility training we teach every day at Motive Training ATX. We’ll break down the key areas that matter most for runners—ankles, knees, hips, pelvis, and the spine. You’ll learn how to improve your stride mechanics, create more control at each joint, and build resilience that carries into every mile.
If you struggle with tight calves, achy knees, hip stiffness, or lower-back discomfort on longer runs, this session will help. The goal is simple: give you the mobility and control you need to run more smoothly, absorb force better, and stay consistent without battling the same injuries over and over again.
This class is for every level, from new runners to marathon veterans. Expect a focused, hands-on session rooted in KINSTRETCH and Functional Range principles. You’ll learn drills that strengthen your end ranges, improve force absorption, and support better running mechanics.
Bring a yoga mat, some water, and be ready to move. You’ll leave with practical tools you can use before and after runs—and a better understanding of how to keep your joints healthy for the long term.
