Elder Futhark: Norse Runes for Divination and Magical PracticeIn this three-class series, we will discuss the energetic forces attached to each of the twenty-four runes in the Elder Futhark, including their meanings in divination, the deities they are connected to, and their uses in spellwork and daily life. Each class will cover one aett ( a set of eight runes), the stories behind them and how they impact the world around us, how to interpret them in divination and create a set for your personal use.
Freyja's Aett:
The first class in our series focuses on the first eight runes within the Elder Futhark. This aett calls into focus the base needs of the physical human experience not to just survive but also thrive. We will discuss the Vanir goddess Freyja and some of her myths, lessons, and triumphs; and how we can access those same energies during readings and spellwork.
