Runaway Bride 5K Fun Run

Are you ready to Run for your Wife? Join us at The Runaway Bride 5k: Catch Me If You Can Fun Run! This is a wedding-themed costumed race challenging grooms to catch their brides before she crosses the finish line. Customize your “catch” by chasing your flower girl daughter, bridesmaid best friend, ring bearer or wedding officiant! Run individually, as a couple, or as a “bridal party". Costumes are encouraged so let your imagination run wild in your wedding attire - the best ones just might win a prize! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a good time, this 5k is perfect for everyone.

Starting time for brides and bridal parties is 9am. Grooms chasing down the love of their life will be unleashed after a 3 minute and 30 second delay.

This course starts at Tallman Meadow Park in Parker and follows a scenic trail with beautiful surroundings. After you cross the finish line, come party at our post-race wedding reception complete with live music, food trucks, photo ops and your favorite wedding traditions. All proceeds go towards supporting the Women’s Adventure Club, a nonprofit dedicated to improving women's mental, social, and physical health through community-based events and outdoor exploration. This organization is completely volunteer-run by local women! Click here to donate!

The inaugural Runaway Bride 5K is a fundraising event in support of The Women’s Adventure Club, a new, local nonprofit in Parker, Colorado. The Women’s Adventure Club’s mission is to help women improve their mental, physical, and social health through community-based events exploring the great outdoors. They offer free outdoor events for stroller moms, retirees, and women of all ages. In addition, they offer training programs, special events, and community blogs all intent on bringing women together in a supportive and empowering sisterhood. • This is an untimed, fun run. All levels of walkers, runners, and joggers are welcome.
• Children need their own registration.
• The course is an out and back along Tallman Gulch Trail in Parker, CO, starting and finishing at Tallman Meadow Park. There will be no road running.
• The course will be marked with arrows and volunteers to help you know where to go.
• Our event is rain or shine!
• Bag drop will be available with a security detail.
• No dogs or strollers on the course during the race - space is limited!
• Food Trucks will be available at the finish line along with Wedding Reception festivities, including LIVE MUSIC!
• There is public parking available across from the park at Legend High School. Police will be available to help with safe street crossing.
• Water aid stations at turn around point and at finish line.
