Looking for a great way to kick off 2025? Join us for the first Runaround Kent community run of the year in the beautiful Ranscombe Nature Reserve! This is a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded runners, explore one of Kent’s most beautiful trail running spots and enjoy the camaraderie of the welcoming Embrace Ultra community.
What to Expect
• A guided, group-paced trail run, ensuring no one is left behind.
• Scenic traffic free trails around Ranscombe Nature Reserve offering beautiful views and a great sense of adventure.
• Support from experienced trail runners who are passionate about creating an inclusive and fun environment.
This run is suitable for adult runners of all abilities and paces. We are committed to ensuring everyone enjoys the run and will make sure no one is left behind.
The Route
We’ll cover approximately 10 miles on a mix of trails and pathways around Ramscombe. Expect rolling hills, beautiful views, and some muddy sections—it’s all part of the fun!
The route will not be marked, so runners are strongly encouraged to download the GPX file to their watches/OS Maps app or stay with others who have access to the map. If you’re unsure of the way at any point, please wait for the next group of runners to catch up.

What You Need to Bring
• Sufficient drink to keep you hydrated on the run.
• Snacks or energy gels to keep you well fuelled.
• Trail shoes and layers appropriate for weather conditions / time of year.
Start/Finish Location
We will meet at the Bligh Way Park car park at 09:00 AM. Please aim to arrive by this time as we will aim to leave no later than 9:10 AM. If the car park is full, please use local street parking, but please be respectful of local residents and do not block roads or driveways.
