Run Wilson is an Indie Rock/Pop band from Des Moines, IA .
Formed in their Des Moines metro high school days in 2019, Run Wilson's relentless dedication to perfecting their craft has elevated their sound to remarkable heights. Each member of Run Wilson brings a wealth of technical expertise and a deep appreciation for music's nuances to their performances. Their fusion of indie rock and pop is executed with an eye to musical excellence and providing the audience with relentless energy, showcasing the intricacies and skill of each musician. The band's chemistry and tight-knit musical cohesion are undeniably captivating, allowing them to explore new artistic territories with confidence and joy that is reciprocated by crowds everywhere.
With a dedicated Midwestern fan base and an ever-expanding reach, owed to their constant performing and summer touring, Run Wilson's journey from backyard high school band to live performance experts has been tireless. Run Wilson’s most recent EP, "If You Love Me, Leave the Garden”, gained local recognition and has been played throughout the state of Iowa and beyond.
With two members now living together in Nashville, the rest are soon to follow. As their residency in Iowa slowly diminishes, the band plans to leave the state with a bang.
KELSIE JAMES
Kelsie James is a seventeen-year-old singer/songwriter from central Iowa.
Spending her whole life performing and writing, Kelsie has always been entirely consumed in the world of music. Since her first performance in 2021, Kelsie has performed at Gabe’s, xBk Live, 80/35 Music Festival, the Roof Garden Ballroom, the Iowa State Fair, and Des Moines Arts Festival, along with many famers markets and restaurants.
Kelsie released her debut EP Songs About Daisies in February 2023, getting her a nomination as one of five artists for Iowa Music Awards Country Artist of the Year. She is now set to release her first full-length album Kaleidoscope Soul in May of 2024.
James’ music is vulnerable, emotional, and raw, as well as inspired by the work of artists of past decades. She brings an enchanting and spiritual aspect to her performances that you do not often see in this day and age. Kelsie does not like to be defined as one genre or style. Kelsie James wants her music to speak for itself.
