Participants run or walk five miles through the beautiful trails of Cherokee Park to benefit Second Chances Wildlife Center. Second Chances is a nonprofit that provides Environmental Education programs to the Louisville area community as well as rehabilitation and safe release of injured and orphaned animals.Runners and walkers receive a custom medal, race t-shirt and a chance to meet one of the Second Chances Animal Ambassadors! The course is five miles of single track, wooded trail through the heart of Cherokee Park, starting and ending at Hogan's Fountain, the course is great for beginners and veteran runners alike. Door prizes and overall awards for top runners.
