Run/Walk technique is a useful approach to running long distances. The variety can be adapted to suit the terrain, the distance, sometimes the monotony, but most improtant if you set the right structure you will find the overall distance can be easily broken down into chunks that do not overwhelm you.Today we will do;
5min (W),4km (R) 1km (W) then 3km/1km, 2km/1km, 1km/1km x2 then brisk 5min (W)
Over all this is 28km and the longest you run continuously is 4k twice.
Come to the session with a time in mind as if you would run it then see how you do.
