Invite to the 5th Annual Run Manu Run and Community BBQHi all. Run Manu Run this year will be (weather permitting) on Saturday 6th December. Starting/finishing at 74 Hill Rd with community BBQ to follow.
Run Manu Run is a unique group adventure run (everyone stays together during the event). The course takes in the 3 most famous Pareraho swimming holes: the taniwha pool, the Mighty Kelson Waterfall, and the Hill Road swimming hole, as well as some of the quirky Pareraho trails and the charming Crikey Canyon.
The event involves repeated full immersion and some slippery scrambling on slimy stones, but has been successfully conquered by staunch nine year olds with their parents, or other designated adults. The event takes approximately 2 1/2 hours.The run finishes down a slip in slide at 74 Hill Road.
The Community BBQ/potluck starts as Run Manu Run finishes and continues into the evening. All welcome! Bring a plate/contribution if you can. BYO beverages.
