The RUN Manatee 5k series offers THREE adventures to celebrate ONE community. Participants will discover Manatee County's parks, beaches and preserves . . . on the run! This second run/walk in the series, presented by Run With Purpose Nutrition, includes a scenic route along Coquina Beach asphalt trail under the trees with a gulf breeze. Warm up will be provided by a local fitness trainer and yoga cooldown provided by Rachael Croll of Salty Buddha at dusk. Participants of all age and activity levels are welcome to this day of fitness, food and family fun! Grab a healthy snack/dinner, shop local vendors in the marketplace or stay for the sunset . . . there’s plenty to do even if you're not running! 5:30 p.m.: Warm Up with local fitness trainer Begins
5:45 p.m.: Run presented by Run With Purpose Nutrition Begins
6:45 p.m.: Family Walk Begins
7:00 p.m.: Run Awards, Top 3 male & female. Top 3 kids, 12 and under
7:15 p.m.: Yoga with Rachael Croll of Salty Buddha Begins
Event entry, warm up, yoga and family walk are all free, but PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for the 5K portion of the event.
This event series is supporting local non-profits who enable children of all abilities to get outdoors and live an active lifestyle! 10% of registration fees will be donated to Chastenation which gives differently-abled children a chance to go fishing.
