Whether you’re a new runner looking to complete your first long run, or an experienced one trying to hit a personal best, a well-rounded approach of training can help you reach those milestones quicker and easier.

In this workshop, expect to gain interdisciplinary knowledge to boost your speed and endurance while minimising any risks of injury, through interactive rotational sessions with a variety of fitness and wellness professionals including a Run Analysis Coach, Personal Trainer and Chiropractor.

On the day, all attendees will stand a chance to win a pair of ON running shoes in a lucky draw!

- Chua Jing Zhi (Run Analysis Coach): Gait inefficiencies and a simple guide to running faster

- Cheah Boon Chong (Personal Trainer): Strength training and hydration strategy

- Dr Kevin Tomassini (Chiropractor): Posture, alignment and mobility for better performance, how much to drink, and what drinks to avoid

Our Speakers

Chua Jing Zhi - Run Analysis Coach, Allset

Jing Zhi believes a healthy body helps us, and by extension, those around us, enjoy a better quality of life. If your aim is to improve your run and/or triathlon, you can be sure his strength and conditioning sessions will be of value to you. Money-back guaranteed. His satisfied clients include Southeast Asia Games champions, elite age-groupers, as well as executives who are new to the sport. In his competitive years, he was the aquathlon varsity team's vice-captain and a frequent podium finisher. He has also completed multiple Ironmans and ultra-marathons. To this day, he remains an avid athlete despite his commitments as the CEO of Allwin Services. He is available 6-8 am on weekdays. Read more here. 

Cheah Boon Chong - Personal Trainer, OMNI Strength and Performance

Boon Chong was Malaysia’s karate national champion winning a silver medal in the team event at the Asian Karate Federation Championships in 2007. He spent 7 years in the National Sports Institute of Malaysia as a Strength & Conditioning coach. Apart from coaching high-performance athletes, he has more than 8 years of experience in personal training & group training. His goal is to empower his clients to maintain a healthy lifestyle through exercise and making good food choices. Read more here. 

Dr Kevin Tomassini - Chiropractor, Spine & Performance Pte Ltd

Dr Kevin Tomassini is a USA board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic with a background in fitness and has been providing his chiropractic services in Singapore since 2013. His qualifications include Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas Texas, Masters in Social and Economic Development from ISEAD Madrid, Bachelors of Science in Health and Wellness from Parker College of Chiropractic, and a Bachelors of Arts in Physical Education from the University of Puerto Rico. A strong believer in functionality, he practices integrative corrective spinal care through the use of Chiropractic combined with nutrition and exercise prescription. He is also a certified Titleist Performance Institute professional for golfers. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, Dr Tomassini worked as a fitness trainer and a Physical Education teacher. He is a Masters Track and Field athlete passionate in fitness, sports, traveling, food, and music. Read more here.
