October is almost here and it's time to plan for an excellent kick-off of Halloween in the Hattiesburg Avenues! Plan to wear your best costume and join us for our spooky fun run!Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a run start time of 6 p.m. The race will begin in the parking lot of Murky Waters and end with a party inside.
Registration costs get you entry into the race, a shirt, a beverage at Murky Waters after the run, and a good time!
Registration WILL be available on the day of the race, but day-of registrations will not be guaranteed a limited edition Avenues Halloween T-Shirt!
Awards will be given for (male and female): first place overall, middle of the pack, and last one standing. Additional awards will be given for the three best costumes (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place).
This event will be timed by Southern Race Timing.
Proceeds from this event are used to put on our other Halloween Events (Pumpkin Carving 10/16 and Halloween Parade 10/30) and to help beautify the Hattiesburg Avenues neighborhoods.
