About this Event
Run for Chinatown and Meals for Unity is teaming up to bring you Run for Unity, a group run & walk showcasing how we give back to our AAPI community. Ticket proceeds go directly to our meal fund which supports serving 1000 meals to the AAPI elderly in December 2021!
All *registered participants will receive a goodie bag including snacks from a local Chinatown business, drinks sponsored by Sanzo, and a M4U Egg Hat.
*11/16 UPDATE: Please note *Late Bird* ticket holders will not receive all goodie bag items. Late Birds will only receive a M4U Egg Hat, and no perishables (e.g. the Sanzo drinks and Chinatown snacks) as we are out of those items.
Meals for Unity is a nonprofit grassroots organization dedicated to reducing food insecurity in marginalized communities. Every month, M4U works with local restaurants, food businesses and community organizations to distribute 400+ meals to AAPI elderly in Chinatown.
Run for Chinatown was born out of a series of running challenges to raise funds and awareness for the Manhattan Chinatown community. Now, they are a group whose mission is to promote running in Chinatown and to challenge our physical and mental limits through the sport.
