Run for Glory is one of the most challenging road 5Ks in the area! Set atop beautiful Noccalula Mountain, this course will push your endurance and strength!! We encourage runners AND walkers of all ages to come out and take part in this tough, uphill climb! Make plans to come join us!!All proceeds from this race will benefit MANNA of Gadsden. This non-profit organization provides meal delivery service to elderly, homebound, and disabled individuals in the Gadsden/Etowah County Area. Their purpose is to meet the nutritional needs of those who are unable to provide an adequate meal for themselves. Although their services are similar to the federal program Meals on Wheels, they are a locally-funded organization. MANNA receives about seventy-five percent of their funding through contributions by local churches and other organizations. They receive funding from the City Development Block Grants through the City of Gadsden, Federal Emergency Management Agency and United Way of Etowah County.
