About this Event
In celebration of AAPI Heritage month, Run for Chinatown will be hosting our 2nd annual track meet. We invite you and your family to join us for some friendly competition.
Run for Chinatown is here to create a different type of track meet experience. Along with the usual elements of a track meet, there will be a Taiko performance featuring the New York Taiko Aiko Kai and also a 55m Kids Dash. There’s something for everyone!
Our track events will flow as below:
- 1500m
- 55m Kids Dash
- 300m
- 4 x 300m Relay
In line with Run for Chinatown’s ethos, we are hosting this track meet for all experience levels and paces. As we say, "If you're not running, you're cheering!" Come out and cheer for your friends, family, and each other.
Winners will receive medals - don’t forget to bring them to Medal Monday!
Check-in opens at 8am. We can’t wait to see you at the Murry Bergtraum Softball Field and Track.
RUNNERS: Unfortunately shoe spikes are NOT permitted on this track.
