About this Event
Join Golden Gate Canyon State Park Interpreter Kayla at Nott Creek Trailhead on September 19, 2025 at 6:00 PM. We'll meet at the upper parking lot and run roundtrip about 3 miles with 600 feet of elevation gain. Halfway, we'll stop for our 20-minute session of restoration, pulling and bagging Mullen that threatens the local ecosystem. After, we'll continue our run back to to Nott Creek Trailhead knowing weβve done a little good with our time on the trail. All skill levels are welcome and we will stop at all trail junctions. Please make sure to register for this run as we'll do our best to wait for everyone signed up before we get out on trail!
What's provided:
- Work gloves
- Brief overview of noxious weeds/native plants
What you should bring:
- Sturdy running shoes
- Your typical trail running gear (vest, layer, etc.)
- Hydration
Additionally, please make sure you've purchased your $12 park pass before the run. There is an electronic pay station at Kriley Pond (lower lot from where we'll be meeting). If you have a Keep Colorado Wild (KCW) Pass labeled on your car registration, this serves as your day pass. Park Rangers can check your license plate to see your KCW Pass, so no need to put your registration on your dashboard.
This event is weather permitting. In the scenario that weather impacts the run, we will email if the event cannot take place. For more information about this trail running series, please reach out to Kayla Beltran at [email protected].
