Flaring up first back in 2018, Untertage Concerts established itself as a chronic condition of the Teutonic underground, bringing together what metastasizes upon the scene's skin of rancid Black and Death Metal. Entities such as MARE, HADOPELAGYAL, THORYBOS, or DEIQUISITOR ensured nobody left as healthy and light-spirited as they came. But it is known that when hell calls your name, there's no way back...

Hail Conjurer (FIN):
The term can signify either sorcerer or trickster, yet both meanings blend and intertwine in the listener's mind, holding them captive within a narrow crevasse of sound - its walls formed by noise, hypnotic reverberations, and raw intensity.
This one-man band from Helsinki casts its spells with unparalleled potency.
The Door Is Not Locked (GER):
The chains are broken, the gates flung wide open. The knee joints lock; the bodies stand erect. Paralytic fear whispers to those drawn near: death is not the end. The gateway calls.
It leads from, towards, into, and out of yourself. Stay sharp, and await the withering spell of death. Join in and begin your metamorphosis.
Haemalharia (GER):
Twisting, turning, shaking, and winding - darkening a thousand suns, spitting, breaking, and commanding blackest smoke to rise from the soil - these demons of Hekla (Hadopelagyal/Pale Spektre/Necropolissebeht) on drums/vocals and C.G. (Pale Spektre/ex-Ch'ahom) on guitar/bass/vocals fire their warheads, as primitive as they are labyrinthine, across the tides and into the heart of the earth.
Fir (NL):
Wood-igniting flamestorms of the black arts, boiling-blood imperatives, invoking the powers of old to choke your thoughts until you must obey like sheep and cattle. Imagine their side project, Old Tower, reimagined as black metal with drums replacing dungeon synth ambiance.
May the living relive judgment, and the dead consecrate themselves to the lord. We keep our lighters ready in front of the gas stove, bracing for this massive wave of immersive audio shrapnel.
Häxenzijrkell (GER):
Cast. Curse. Enchant. Evoke. Invoke. Dance, dance, dance the witches’ dance!
This entity brews a concoction of diverse ingredients - from doom to black metal - distilled in a cauldron of waves that crash and shatter against the shores of otherworldly realms.
Nuit Noire (FRA):
This enigmatic French cult act, emerging from the ancient days of raw black metal, exemplifies the lawlessness of the genre.
From experimenting and venturing into strange and uncharted territories to twisting back and forth through the core of French black metal brutality and sickness, these demons - addicted to sharpened riffs and unearthly proclamations - embody the blood and soul of the French underground scene: unpredictable and impossible to replicate.
