About this Event
Join us at Rugby Library for a Fun Palace! We’ll be joined by lots of local groups who can’t wait to share their work with you, with plenty of opportunities to have a go and learn something new. We have also partnered with Art at the Alex who will be running some free Diwali inspired art workshops.
We have an exciting combination of stalls, workshops and performances throughout the day:
Performances:
- Classical Indian and Violin Music – 10.15am-11am
- Steel Band – 11.30am-12.15pm
- Classical Indian and Violin Music – 12.45pm-1.30pm
- Steel Band – 2pm-2.45pm
Workshops:
- Garba Dance Workshop – 12pm-1pm
Stalls:
- Henna with Prashanthi Santhanam (1 hour drop-in)
- Sari draping (drop-in)

In addition, we will be launching our first ever Diwali Town Trail to celebrate the Hindu festival with partners across Rugby town centre. Pick up an activity card and find the posters to solve the puzzle and complete the challenge!
All activities are free, with no booking required, but there may be limited space available at busy times.
