Thursday 10th October is World Sight Day and Rugby Heritage Lions, supported by Rugby First, are inviting YOU to join us in Rugby Town Center for a celebration.
Meet some of the folks from Dogs for Good and, if you're lucky, they'll have one of their pups along to say hello.
Our VIP guest will be taking a guided stroll around some of the businesses in the town centre - wearing a BLINDFOLD to help highlight sight and vision issues. Along the way, he will be calling in on some of the town centre businesses.
Meet Lisa, the amazing Guide Dog and her human friend, there from Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Volunteers from Rugby Heritage Lions will be there accepting donations that will be split between Guide Dogs for the Blind and Dogs for Good so be sure to bring some loose change, bank notes or your bank card with you. Every little helps.
And, if you have any old spectacles or sunglasses at home, bring them along and donate them for recycling.
The fun will start at around 12 noon in the area close to the Clock Tower.
