About this Event
The Climate Adaptation World Café Event is an opportunity to drive forward Rugby Borough Council’s work on climate adaptation, aiming to engage with new audiences and stakeholders.
Rugby Borough Council declared a climate emergency in 2019, setting an objective to become Net Zero Carbon by 2035. Furthermore, the Council adopted a Climate Change Strategy in 2022 setting the strategic direction for future climate change work. Progressing this, the Council plans to focus work on Climate Adaptation.
The event is being held at the Benn Hall on 9 November between 10am and 2pm. It will take a World Café format and there will also be a resource marketplace hosting materials and displays from partner organisations.
A key output from the event will be a report reflecting the views and opinions expressed on the day. This will be used to inform the Council’s work in relation to Climate Adaptation.
