The historic art of traditional hand-hooked rugs has been admired since colonial times. Like many art forms, hooked rugs were made out of necessity, utilizing scraps and upcycling. By pulling up one loop at a time, you can create a beautiful 6 and ¼” by 6 and ¼” heirloom textile. The cost of the kit is $65.00 which contains a pattern drawn on linen, a rug hooking frame, a hook, binding to finish off the back, and hand-dyed cut wool. In class, you will learn everything you need to know to complete the pattern at home.
