Parents, if you are looking for school supplies look no further! The USO and USS Constitution are holding a 2024 back-to-school “Rucksacks to Backpacks” event on 3 August from 3pm-5pm. Please bring the whole family for this fun-filled afternoon where children can pick out backpacks, school supplies, take tours, play fun activities, and explore the USS Constitution Museum! In a rush? No worries! Stop by anytime between 3pm-5pm to pick up your reserved grab ‘n go pre-packed bookbag with school supplies. Reservations are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration is open until August 2, 2023 or until supplies last and tickets are valid for 1-8th graders. When reserving, PLEASE only select the number of reservations for the amount of backpacks you would like. Any participants not in 1-8th grade will not require a ticket for entry. All family members are welcome to join, please keep non-service animals at home. Parking and transportation recommendations may be found at the link below.
