Ruck for the Fallen - Honor Our Heroes
When: Friday, May 10th, 2024 | 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM Where: Driving Range
Event:
A 2-mile memorial ruck march (walking or running is welcome!)
MWR will provide up to 10 rucksacks with weights (first come, first served).
Bring your own rucksack or backpack with a weight if you don't snag one from MWR.
We recommend a 20 lb weight for beginners.
Schedule:
The event kicks off with a short ceremony to honor fallen service members.
After the ceremony, we'll embark on the ruck march.
The event concludes with a complimentary breakfast.
Why:
We ruck to honor the over 20,000 service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice since the start of the Global War on Terror.
Let's come together to remember their bravery and service.
Additional Tips:
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes appropriate for the weather.
Bring a water bottle and stay hydrated.
Feel free to wear reflective gear if it's dark during the event.
