Join us at Aegis Games for our first official Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition RTT and celebrate launch day with a full day of gaming, hobby, and competition. Whether you're bringing a freshly updated army or testing your first 11th Edition list, this is your chance to be part of the beginning.
Entry Fee: $35
Player Cap: 24 Players
All missions and terrain layouts will utilize the official 11th Edition tournament packet and current Games Workshop event guidelines.
Event Schedule
8:30 AM – Doors Open & Check-In
9:00 AM – Round 1
12:00 PM – Lunch Break
1:00 PM – Round 2
4:00 PM – Round 3
7:05 PM – Awards Ceremony
Player Perks
All tournament participants will receive 15% off their lunch purchase at Aegis Taphouse during the event. Take advantage of the lunch break to grab great food, recharge, and get ready for the next round of battle.
Awards
Best General: Awarded to the player with the strongest overall performance on the battlefield.
Hobby Achievement Award: This award is not simply for the best-painted army. Players earn hobby achievements through army presentation, narrative elements, conversions, hobby effort, and community participation throughout the event.
The Dauntless Award: Awarded to the commander who never gives up, faces every challenge head-on, and exemplifies perseverance, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude throughout the event regardless of their final standing.
Event Information
Rules & Rulings
The event will use the most current Games Workshop rules, FAQs, Errata, Balance Updates, and official tournament guidance available at the time of the event.
Terrain
Games will be played using official tournament-style terrain layouts with acrylic footprint markers.
Chess Clocks
Chess clocks will be available upon request. If either player requests a clock, both players will use one.
Proxies & Conversions
Reasonable proxies and conversions are welcome with prior TO approval. If in doubt, ask before the event.
Painting Requirements
There are no painting requirements for participation. Bring what you've got and get games in. Painted armies are always encouraged and may contribute toward Hobby Achievement scoring.
Round Structure
Each round consists of:
- 15 Minutes for setup and introductions
- 2 Hours 45 Minutes of gameplay
Players are expected to play at a pace that allows games to reach a natural conclusion within the round time.
