RTF Monthly Walks Section #2 - CHS to Lochlyn Bridge (Megan Court)

Join us every month for a free guided walk along the Rivanna Trail. Each month we will walk a different section, usually around 5 total miles, as we gear up for the Loop de’Ville Trail Fest on September 27th.

This month we are walking the loop from Charlottesville High School to the Lochlyn Bridge (Megan Crt) along Meadow Creek. Expect to walk 5 miles. 80% of the trail will be on dirt and uneven terrain but not technical and the grade is mostly flat. Meet us at the CHS football field off Melbourne Rd. There is street parking but additional parking at the high school across the street if needed. Check the weather report and make sure to dress appropriately.
