About this Event
Elders, as shepherds of God’s flock, are called to oversee the life and health of the church. While at a “micro” level that includes spiritual oversight of every member of the flock, at a “macro” level it includes overseeing the big picture of the church’s key ministry areas.
RTC’s 2024 Elders’ Retreat will explore the why, how and what of three major areas of church life the elders must oversee: Mission and Evangelism, Word and Worship, and Care and Discipleship.
The RTC would love to see eldership teams across Australia and New Zealand using the RTC’s Elder’s Retreat for their own retreat day. Hosting an Elders’ Retreat “watch party” will provide a day of training and interaction to strengthen your eldership team and your work as shepherds of God’s flock.
