*MORE INFORMATION ON TICKETS AND EVENT TO BE ANNOUNCED*It's Gala Audition time again! Auditions for Roseville Theatre Arts Academy's 5th Annual Champagne Gala are September 13th at 10:00am. Directed and Choreographed by Christi Axelson and Musical Directed by Erin Gabriele, we're looking forward to another night of inspiring music to celebrate all that Broadway is. This year’s theme is “Seasons of Love.” Think about the songs that speak to what love means to you. It’s going to be a night full of music that captures all the ups and downs—from first crushes and unforgettable dates to heartbreak, healing, deep friendships, unrequited love, and lasting connections!
We'd like you to audition with 32 bars (about a minute’s length) of a solo, or grab a friend and make it a duet, trio, quartet, quintet (you get the point) that you'd like to perform...or perhaps have performed and want to resurrect. We're looking for talented performers who are ready to make a beautiful night for our audience and want to include your creativity in the process if it fits with our vision.
Tentative Rehearsal Schedule: September 22nd 7:00-9:00pm, September 25th 7:00-9:00pm, September 29th 7:00-9:00pm, October 2nd 7:00-9:00pm, October 13th 7:00-9:00pm, October 16th 7:00-9:00pm, October 20th 7:00-9:00pm, October 23rd 7:00-9:00pm, October 27th 7:00-9:00pm, October 28th 8:00-10:00pm, October 29th 8:00-10:00pm, October 30th 7:00-9:00pm, November 3rd 7:00-9:00pm, November 6th 7:00-9:00pm
Tech Rehearsals: November 9th 2:00-8:00pm, November 10th 7:00-9:00pm, November 11th 8:00-10:00pm November 12th 8:00-10:00pm, November 13th 7:00-9:00pm, November 15th 2:00-4:00pm
Gala: November 15th 7:30pm
Auditions are for ages 13 and up. Doors will open at 9:50am. Please bring your audition form filled out (found below) and PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TRACK AND BLUETOOTH SPEAKER, as an accompanist will not be provided for you! (We are able to provide a bluetooth speaker if need be, but it is preferable if auditioners can bring their own, with their track ready on their personal device.) Be prepared to dance as well.
If you are unable to attend auditions, we will accept video submissions through September 13th BEFORE 10AM. You will be notified by email if you are in the Gala by September 16th.
