Welcome the first day of the new year with a winter hike around camp! Scouts of all ages and their families and friends are welcome for this free event!Unique staff-guided hikes will be available for those who are interested, including:
Tykes Hike for younger kids
Hike to the Cliffs
Historical Tour
Guided hikes will depart from the office at 10:15 AM.
Don't forget your water bottle. All participants will receive a RSR First Day Hike 2026 water bottle sticker!
All participants are asked to register online to assist with event planning.
Camp will be open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for hikers. Hot chocolate and soup will be available at the Seneca Lodge warming station, but participants should plan to bring their own snacks/lunch. Please wear appropriate footwear and warm clothing appropriate for the conditions.
