For anyone here who are not members of the group if you would like to join to help support us the costs per year are only £5 per Adult, or £8 per couple per year, You can easily join at the meetings or contact Cheryl Delaney and she will provide bank details to do bank transfer, I have been working on this talk for ages and I promise it will be a great night. This talk we are going to follow “The Great Texas coastal Birding Trail”, dropping in at all the local hotspots looking for up to 30 species of American warblers during peak migration on there way North across the Gulf of Mexico back to their breeding grounds in America and Canada.
I’m also checking out the stunning coastal shore birds, exotic raptors and then making a trip to the Rio Grande for Mexican specialities.
Everything in Texas is bigger, including the amazing variety of warblers.
Texas in April is American bird migration at its very best.
Last year we also managed to donate £1000 to the RSPB with monies raised.
