A trio of conversations about the city of Oxford and its role in creating a world where people, place and planet can all thrive in harmony.
Over three evenings, we will explore social connections, skills and sustainability through the lens of stories and systems thinking. RSA Fellows will present insights from their own initiatives followed by reflection and discussion.

Our speakers for the second conversation on skills for the future, hosted by RSA Fellowship Engagement Manager, Kate Monkhouse, will be:
Rose Carter, a trainer, speaker and educational specialist who uses a trauma informed and relational approach with her students. She is founder and CEO of Inspires Tuition an Oxfordshire-based alternative provision specialising in Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including Autism, ADHD, and anxiety disorders. Her passion lies in helping young people with complex needs to re-engage with learning and thrive by putting wellbeing at the heart of education. She is a founding member of Ladies Who LaunchED and winner of the Woman Who Solopreneur Award 2025.
Nazan Cayrak, who is Strategic Global Account Director for Finastra, a financial services software company, revolutionizing market strategies across Southeast Europe and Turkey through building vital banking partnerships at the forefront of financial innovation. She has an MSc in Computer Engineering, advanced diplomas in Strategy & Innovation and Financial Strategies from the University of Oxford and a Diploma in Corporate Governance from Glasgow Caledonian University. She is passionate about mentoring and lecturing and is a tutor for the MBA programme at the Entrepreneurship Centre, Said Business School.
Jonathan Winter, who has been a producer of start-ups and innovative projects, bringing together experts to tackle complex challenges, researching emerging trends, and focusing on areas of potential for large-scale positive change in an international context. As board chair at The Career Innovation Company, which works with some of the world's best-known employers, he helps organisations and individuals to face the future of work with confidence. He has worked, consulted and spoken widely on the future of work and careers and interviews amazing people for The Innovator's Journey podcast.
The speakers for our first conversation on social connections, hosted by RSA Fellow Stan Gilmour, were:
Shaniek Parks, a MPhil academic with Oxford Population Health, who is researching the impact of digital communications on food decision-making among young adults in her home country, Jamaica, and the UK. Shaniek has been a communications consultant with the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization Office for Jamaica.
Amy Ludlow, a researcher and educator with expertise in law and criminal justice, who excels in bridging policy, practice, and research for systemic impact, particularly in the fields of Pr*son reform, cultural improvement, and Pr*son education. Amy is CEO of SHiFT, which exists to break the destructive cycle of children and young people caught up in, or at risk of, crime.
Pamela Roberts, an award-winning producer, cultural strategist and executive coach, who founded Black Oxford Untold Stories, a groundbreaking platform that illuminates the lives and legacies of Oxford University’s Black scholars. Pamela is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and a Fellow at the Eccles Centre for American Studies at the British Library.
Taking part in RSA in-person events
