In Australia, Responsible Service of Alcohol training is mandatory throughout the country for all people serving alcohol including: bar staff, sommeliers, waiting staff (in licensed premises), airline staff, security staff and people serving at catered events. The Provide Responsible Service of Gambling certificate, (RSG certificate) is nationally recognised and is a legal requirement for anyone seeking employment within the gaming industry. After completing the Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) unit, you will be able to work in premises that have gaming machines as well as learn the importance of responsible service of gambling. At Foot in the Door Training we realise just how important both the responsible service of alcohol and responsible service of gambling are, that is why we only offer classroom based courses. Because there are just some things the internet can’t teach you!
A total of 2 units are required for this qualification:
SITHFAB021: Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol
SITHGAM022: Provide Responsible Gambling Service
These units contribute towards a qualification in Hospitality.
