The Round Reading Ultra Marathon will return for a 8th year. Entries are now open.You'll be starting again from the brilliant Berkshire County Sports Club in Sonning, and will tackle our classic 50km multi terrain course, circumnavigating the town of Reading on footpaths, woodland trails and urban green spaces.
The course will be FULLY SIGNPOSTED, with GPX & Google Maps routes offered in addition & there will be FIVE well stocked checkpoints around the route so you'll have plenty of chance to hydrate and get the calories back in! We encourage all runners to take up our personal feed drop service - have your favourite food delivered where you want it around the course. Everyone get the VIP treatment!!
With really generous cut-off times allowing for walking pace, and our flat course makes this a perfect intro to the world of ultras.
Every RRUM runner will get a fabulous Ultra Violet memento and a RRUM chunky medal. Quite popularly, the finish is a few metres from the bar!
