We will play 1-2 RPGs selected during the event from The Ultimate Micro-RPG Book. Each RPG in the book is only one page of rules (front and back).The event is scheduled a little long, but we're likely to stop early.
The specific RPGs we play will be determined by attendee vote (I'll have a menu).
RPGs in this book range from serious to funny, GM-less or traditional. Genres include modern, horror, fantasy, sci-fi, animals, and sports.
One-page RPGs like the ones in the book, are great because they typically require no preparation. They can be a chill way to spend an evening, experiment with a new game, or do something fun when half a regular role-playing group can't make a session.
All players welcome. Everything needed will be provided. You can optionally bring snacks, paper or dice. No previous experience with role-playing, storytelling games, or one-page RPGs is required.
