RPC Speed Horse Event
RPC Classes - $10 Entry Fee Per Horse
1. Rhythm Racking
Horses will be judged on a 4 beat gait. Judges are blindfolded for this event!
2. Style Racking
Bell boots are not allowed in style classes.
3. Juvenile Racking & Pacing
17 & Under - Horse MUST NOT break gait or switch over! Any horse that breaks gait or switches will be disqualified. Racking and Pacing will compete separately.
3. Open Saddle
This will be a single class that will be individually judged (non-speed class). The Judge will be looking for the horse performing a clean four beat rack with style while performing their favorite gait. Trophy for 1st Place winner ribbons will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place in this class.
4. 14 & Under Pony Class
14 years and you younger all participants will receive a ribbon. Pony class is 59 inches & under. Pony will be measured.
5. Men’s and Women's Pacing
(separate classes by gender)
18 years and older Any horse that breaks or runs will be disqualified. No cross entries allowed.
6. Men’s and Women's Racking
(separate classes by gender)
18 years and older Any horse that breaks or runs will be disqualified. No cross entries allowed.
7. Overall Speed Winner
Guaranteed - $300 Payout
Fastest horse wins! This class is not gender specific. This class will be ran indiviually to insure accurate radar detection. Horse will be disqualified for breaking gait.
Rules and Regulations
• Any horse that breaks gait IN ANY CLASS will be disqualified.
• No whips or any other devices are allowed in any class. Horse and rider will be disqualified if they are used.
JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH JUDGE AT ANY TIME!
• All riders must have coggins to participate.
• All riders must sign a liability waiver to participate.
• SIGN UP will END Saturday by 12:30PM EST.
• RACES will BEGIN Saturday at 1:00PM EST.
• Trophies and/or Ribbons will be awarded in all classes.
