About this Event
Platinum Jubilee 2022 Queen Elizabeth Autumn Walk
This walk explores the neighbourhood of St James, with a somewhat royal, power and ‘privilege’ theme, touching upon challenges to the established order.
We start at royal St James's Palace, make our way through to St James Square and the clubs of Pall Mall and finishes with the celebration of Empire in Waterloo Place at the bottom end of Piccadilly on the steps of the Mall.
City of Westminster qualified guide and town planner Barbara Wright will lead the walk.
This walk is free and open to everyone, not just Streatham Society members. Donations to the Streatham Society would be welcome however.
'The purpose and aims of the Society are to raise the awareness and appreciation of our local area and to maintain and improve the quality of life for all who live and work in Streatham'
