If you are ready to kick off a new year of cookie decorating and learn to use royal icing like a pro, this workshop is for you! Royal icing can be intimidating and a bit temperamental, especially for beginner decorators. Have no fear! We will provide three hours of hands-on instruction, taking you step-by-step from the mixing bowl, through creating different consistencies, coloring methods and the bagging process, practicing skills and finally decorating cookies. You will also receive recipes for royal icing and sugar cookie dough and a "tips & tricks" sheet to continue practicing your newfound skills at home.No experience is required and all supplies are provided, including a fun goodie bag and a box to take your icing and edible art home in and enjoy. We encourage you to bring your creative spirit and your favorite apron (in case of any icing mishaps). Refreshments will be provided or feel free to bring a snack and non-alcoholic beverage to enjoy throughout the workshop.
