NEW CLASS ALERT!!!! Another ‘you asked, we answered’, class being offered at Buffalo Cake Pops! The #1 thing I hear when you join us for classes is, “I’ve tried decorating sugar cookies before, but I can never get the royal icing consistency right”. And WE HEAR YOU! Before I started offering royal icing sugar cookies, I tried about 2 years of troubleshooting with just researching and watching Youtube videos. And just like you, I could never get the consistency right. EVERYTHING changed when I took an in-person class myself- and now I want to show YOU everything I’ve learned about royal icing in the past 8 years!In this 3 hour class, we’re going to go step by step to decorate this Christmas porch scene! You will have creative freedom to create the color scheme and porch items you would like. While we’re going through royal icing techniques like making a flood consistency, wet on wet designs, and working with stiffer consistencies for finer details, we’ll also make royal icing from scratch and make some of our own consistencies. We’ll use edible paints for finishing touches and learn how to make royal icing transfers for tiny details.
Age minimum on this class is 12 years and up. In this particular class, all persons in the room must have a ticket to participate, due to limited seating. This means that a child and adult pair would need 2 tickets to attend. Please email us at [email protected] with any questions before class.
