Join us at Royal College Day on Friday, 7 July 2023 for our annual celebration of achievement within the veterinary and veterinary nursing professions.
Please register your interest in attending Royal College Day. Once received, the RCVS Events team will be in touch to confirm your place.

Format of the day:
Annual General Meeting
The AGM starts at 11am and is open to all registered veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses.
- Formal declaration of RCVS Council election results and appointments
- Presentation of Annual Report and Financial Statements 2022
- Council Meeting to approve the new 2023 Officer Team - President, Vice Presidents and Treasurer
Approximately 12 noon - AGM closes followed by a buffet lunch in Great Hall

Awards Ceremony
Our Awards Ceremony starts around 1pm, and is open to all
- Presentation of Awards
- Out-going President’s Address, Dr Melissa Donald MRCVS
- Out-going VN Council Chair's Address, Matthew Rendle RVN
- Retirement of Treasurer Dr Niall Connell FRCVS & Investiture of new Treasurer, Dr Matshidiso (Tshidi) Gardiner MRCVS
- Investiture of new VN Council Chair
- Investiture of new President Dr Susan Paterson FRCVS and Vice Presidents (SVP) and (JVP)
- New President's remarks
- Guest speaker - Chief Executive BIVDA
Approximately 4pm - Royal College Day concludes
