Come and hear the latest on the new study that has been carried out on the debris flood hazard and associated risks from Coal Creek to Dumbarton – learn what the findings could mean for you, your property and community. 📅 Wednesday, 18 February
📍 Roxburgh Golf Club, 280 Scotland Street
We have two sessions you can attend (you can attend either or both):
📌 Drop-in session | 3–6pm
Come anytime, stay for as long as you like, and chat one-on-one with our team.
📌 Community presentation | 6.30–9pm
Presentation on key findings and next steps, with Q&A.
For each of the 13 creeks in the study area, the new mapping identifies areas where debris floods are more likely to occur. The study also identifies possible effects on people, places and key infrastructure.
The ORC team, Central Otago District Council, Civil Defence Emergency Management and New Zealand Transport Agency will be at these sessions to help answer your questions.
A recording of a similar presentation will be made available for those unavailable to attend.
See you there!
