About this Event
- a 60 minute interactive workshop
- mapped to the National Curriculum for students aged 7-11 years
- developing essential skills such as: creativity, problem solving, and teamwork
- hosted by Barrow Library!
Children will work together to navigate robots around an extreme environment. They will either discover the air above us, the land around us, or the sea beneath us, and will also learn about cyber security and the crucial role it plays in protecting BAE Systems.
BAE Systems has developed this programme in partnership with The Small Piece Trust and Raising Robots. Using LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Sets, the interactive will develop essential skills and connect learning to careers and industry.
Please book one ticket per child attending (7-11 years).
For children younger than 7 years, we recommend joining us downstairs in the library for crafts and colouring while you wait!
