Looking for some interactive learning opportunities for your kids? Join us at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre on May 11th and 12th for our Roving on the Moon hands-on STEAM workshops.

During these 60-minute workshops kids will map out a path and direct mini Ozobot coding robot “rovers” through the Moon’s unique terrain. Go fast, slow or add a nitro boost. Ozobots use sensors to follow lines and read colour codes you make with markers.
Kids will learn basic coding concepts like cause/effect, critical thinking, and debugging, all while having fun!
Workshop age recommendation: 7-15
Cost per attendee: $6.50 + taxes and fees
General admission to Space Centre shows sold separately.
Please arrive early to allow time for check-in.
REGISTRATION
Children must be accompanied by an adult to attend. One ticket must be purchased for each member of your party.
Select from one of three workshop times (A, B or C).
Workshop A: 10:30am – 11:30am
Workshop B: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Workshop C: 2:30pm – 3:30pm
**ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 4:00pm on Friday, May 10th. **
In-person registration available to walk-ups on May 11th.
PARKING
Ample paid parking is available in front of the Space Centre building (Parking Lot #60 on the ZipBy app).
Please note the parking lot and its prices and services are managed by Easy Park.
