Roving Crows are an Irish Folk Rock band based in Herefordshire & Worcestershire. The Crows are a MUST SEE live act; a mix of fiery fiddle playing and conscious lyrics alongside driving drums and bass. The band were formed in 2009 with the current line up playing together since 2019, the group have toured tirelessly across the UK, over to Australia, France and the Netherlands.
Their passion and energy on stage is infectious, never failing to deliver a great time with their vibrant live show! Their music pushes the boundaries of the Irish Folk genre, their jumping jigs and reels will get you dancing whilst their enquiring and provocative lyrics will make you think.
Roving Crows consists of Paul O’Neill (guitar and lead vocals); Caitlin Barrett (fiddle & vocals); Laurence Aldridge (drums & vocals); Jim Smith (bass & vocals).
The band released their 4th album AWAKEN in 2022 and received extensive radio play across the UK as well as 4* reviews for their work. The album was fully funded by a National Lottery Project Grant.
The band have gone from strength to strength and their signature sound is as strong as ever. This Irish group seamlessly marry humour, provocative lyrics , traditional Irish tunes and rock to entertain and bring the listener on a ride that they won’t want to get off! Hailing from the South Coast, Siobhán began her career as a solo singer-songwriter telling her honest tales of love, loss, and lessons learned, through her storytelling of real-life events with powerful vocals and leaving no stone left unturned.
She’s now backed by her band ‘The Sunset Haze’, formed in 2019, they’ve spent the last 4 years honing their sound, and perfecting their unique image, and style as a collective.
After having released their debut EP “Playing the Part” back in 2022, they have played all along the South Coast at iconic venues and multiple festivals such as Teddy Rocks and Fuelled By Cider events. Now having released their latest spooky single 'Witching Hour', they are back and standing tall with their melodic folk-rock fusion, and high energy, wild-hearted live shows, ready to make their mark in 2024.
