We're running a special month of Level 2 classes @ 6:30 - 7:30pm in January ONLY! Scott Angelius will be teaching pieces of choreography each week. The classes are open to students who have taken Level 2 and will be fast paced with int-adv level material. It's recommended, but not required, that you have also taken workshop classes beyond KSDA classes.

Hard Knox is coming up in March and I'd love to have a Knoxville team show off our scene to all of those traveling here for the event and to have something that we can use to work on our dancing together!
The January classes are a chance for everyone to get a taste of the choreo and potentially join and perform in March.
- Performing in March is not required to take the classes.
- Taking the classes doesn't guarantee performing. We'll need to work out partners and numbers!
For those that want to do the full choreo and potentially perform, my plan is to teach the majority of the choreo in the Level 2 classes in January and then to have additional non-KSDA practices thereafter. Tentatively that would be once a week practice before the KSDA on Wednesdays and once a month on the weekend.
I hope that gives a rough idea of what things will look like for classes and for a performance team. I think it will be fun and push everyone. Excited!
To attend level 2 lessons please be comfortable social dancing a variety of movements including the swing out, tuck turn, cross hand turns, side passes, lindy circles, etc.
Level 2 classes meet Wednesdays at the Laurel Theater from 7:00 - 7:30 pm. Classes are $8 a night ($2 discount for cardholders) and include admission to the dance. Purchase the month of lessons to receive one week free. Local students can request a free benefit card!
