Route 500 + Noah Yorke play The Prince Albert, Brighton on Friday 13th Sept. After a tour supporting Bess Atwell, Route 500 headlines their own show in the intimate space of the Prince Albert.
Route 500 is the musical world of Derek Inver - observational lyrics, compelling vocals and dissociative recollections make up their dynamic, lo-fi sound.
The Brighton based project pursues rawness over perfection and captures the darker inner workings and depths of the human psyche. The band have drawn comparisons to the likes of The Microphones, Big Thief and Red House Painters, earning an ever-expanding following of loyal listeners. Their debut album ‘Island Perimeter’ is out now.
Noah Yorke draws from his musical heritage and combines it with his own creativity, the music takes the form of hypnotic soaring vocals and sounds.
Marwyn Grace - shimmering, polyrhythmic, harp-like guitar patterns and words that get inside you. This is intimate, beautiful, unpredictable music.
