Start fall with a plant exchange at the October 6 meeting of the Round Rock Garden Club. Those who bring one, two, or more plants can exchange one of their plants for a different one brought by someone else. The plants may be homegrown or purchased. They should be in a pot labeled with the plant’s name, whether it prefers sun, shade, or both, along with other helpful details such as watering needs and deer resistance. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, October 6, in the Grand Room at the Allen R. Baca Center at 301 West Bagdad Avenue. The garden club welcomes all visitors. There is no charge to attend, but non-members of the Baca Center pay a $1 fee to the Baca Center. The club provides a potluck breakfast and coffee, free for both visitors and members.
