This is a wonderful hike that will take us from the Lumpers Bar in Ravensdale, up through the woods to Round Mount and on across the mountains to Carnawaddy which is the burial site for CúChulainn's hounds. After a short break here we will make our way down along a beautiful ravine. The views on this hike are truly beautiful the whole way with ever changing terrain and vantage points. This is not a beginners hike as there are some tough sections so a decent level of hill fitness is required as are proper clothing and footwear. No jeans or runners.Duration: 4 -5 hours approx.
Difficulty: Hard
Meeting Point: The Lumpers Bar, Ravensdale.
Cost: €30pp
Please be aware that the walk leaves on schedule so allow yourself time to park and prepare.
There is a €5 parking charge in the Lumpers carpark or treat yourself to something wonderful from the coffee wagon instead ?
