Rouge Valley is one of the the first National Urban Park in Canada with some really easy trails for first timers.

A rich assembly of natural, cultural and agricultural landscapes, Rouge National Urban Park is home to amazing biodiversity, some of the last remaining working farms in the Greater Toronto Area, Carolinian ecosystems, Toronto’s only campground, one of the region’s largest marshes, a beach at Lake Ontario, amazing hiking opportunities, and human history dating back over 10,000 years, including some of Canada's oldest known Indigenous sites.
Meetup Details
Meetup Location: I will be standing in the parking lot close to the out door bathrooms wearing my Moose Hat.
Cost: $5
Meetup Time: 11:00am I will only wait 5mins.
What to bring?
Snack
Water
Good shoes
Masks and gloves if you like.
Leaving time - Any time you like. It should take about 4hrs with a break.

How to get there by Transit
1) BUS: From Don Mills Subway Station we will all take the Sheppard Bus (85 A or D Bus) Sheppard and Kingston road. You will then have to walk 1/2km. The whole time will take any hour to get their.
2) Go to Scarbough Town Centre and take a Uber to the Meetup spot.
By Car: Because this is an urban hike my focus in through urban means like TTC and walking. You are more then welcome to drive and meet us their. Members can set up carpool but that will be up to those that are driving.

PLEASE NOTE: Parking is VERY limited!
Highway 401:
Coming from west of Toronto: Take exit 390, Port Union Rd/Kingston Rd, drive eastbound on Kingston Rd. Campground entrance is on left-hand (north) side of Kingston Road, before (west of) the bridge over the Rouge River. Coming from east of Toronto: Take exit 392, Highway 2/Kingston Road, drive east on Kingston Road. Campground entrance is on left-hand (north) side of Kingston Road, before (west of) the bridge over the Rouge River.
Highway 407:
Exit York Durham Line, which is then called Scarborough-Pickering Townline as it crosses south of Steeles Avenue.
Turn left on Finch Avenue, turn right on Altona Road (southbound) and then right (westbound) on Kingston Road.
At the bottom of the bridge, the campground entrance will be on your right-hand (north) side.
