Paint Your Mate is a fun-filled painting session in the heart of Rotorua where you and your favourite human sit face-to-face and paint a portrait of each other on canvas. No skills required, 100% judgement-free, and abstract, exaggerated masterpieces are very much encouraged!You’ll be seated opposite your mate while our Paintvine artist guides you with tips, encouragement, and lots of laughs! This event is perfect for couples, dates, best mates, siblings, or anyone who wants a socially acceptable excuse to stare at their mate.
This ticket is a double pass (two people, two canvases) and include one free Love Potion cocktail (or mocktail) per person, all the painting materials you will need, and a final portrait reveal that will absolutely end in laughter.

- Around two hours of painting, laughs, and creative chaos, guided by our Paintvine artist and assistant.
- All painting materials for you and your mate – acrylic paint, brushes, palettes, aprons, the lot.

What is Paintvine?
It’s a fun social painting class where our artists will run you through step-by-step instructions on how to create your very own masterpiece in a fun and relaxed bar setting. Perfect for dates, catching up with mates or for meeting new friends!
We provide all the materials you need (high-quality canvas, acrylic paint, brushes). All you need to bring is your creative spirit (or find some at the bottom of a glass). At the end of the night you will leave with your own painting ready to hang up on your wall.
