Set to take place on Saturday, March 22nd, at the Village Green, this family-friendly event is sure to be a big night of celebration, festivity, and fun, with an impressive fireworks grand finale!
What can you expect? Lakeside Concert is an annual outdoor concert that brings together the best of Māori, classical, and contemporary music in a format accessible to everyone in the region. Since 1997, Rotorua’s Lakeside Concert has been a highly anticipated event, appealing to people of all ages.
Key information: Tamariki and rangatahi (children and youth) under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and no patches, no alcohol and no glass are permitted.
What to bring: Hamper/picnic, rugs/cushions, low-level seating (folding beach chairs), sunscreen, sunhats, sweaters (for later in the evening). We encourage you to bring alternatives to single-use plastic.
Seating: To make the most of your experience, reserved seats are available for a low cost – with a reserved seat, you’ll have the convenience of not having to pack a picnic blanket or foldable chair and get the best view of the performances. Reserved seats are limited and we will share the link once these are available for purchase.
