Rules and Regulations1. Certification: This is a USBC certified event, all USBC rules and regulations shall apply, and all entrants must be current adult USBC members. This event is open to all adult USBC sanctioned bowlers and youth USBC sanctioned bowlers who had a 2024-25 final average of 200+ for more than 21 games. Per USBC Rule 13, youth bowlers must have a parent or guardian sign a consent form prior to the start of the competition.
2. Averages: Use highest 2024-25 avg. of 21 games or more. If none, then use highest current 2025-26 avg. of 12 games or more. If none then bowler will use a 220 avg. There will be no 10-pin rule for this event. All averages will be verified prior to the start of the tournament. If a bowler has a standard average and a sport average, the standard average shall be used. If a bowler must use his/her sport average, their average shall be adjusted using the USBC Sport Conversion Chart. The tournament director reserves the right to re-rate any bowler for any reason.
3. Handicap: Handicap shall be calculated using 80% from 225 for each bowler.
4. Format: All bowlers will complete five (5) games of qualifying across ten (10) lanes, skipping, or moving, lanes after each game. The number of entries determines the number of bowlers advancing to the finals. The number of bowlers making the finals will be divided equally into multiple groups. Each group will bowl one game, eliminating the lowest score from the group. This will continue until each group has a winner. The winners from each group will be placed into a final group. The same process will be repeated until a winner is determined. ~1:4 will make the finals.
5. Payouts: Payouts will be 1:4 ratio.
6. Entry Fee and Prize Fund: The entry fee is $50. The breakdown per bowler will be $17.50 for lineage, $26 prize fund, $4.50 awards, and $2 admin.
7. Singles Brackets and High Games: There will be optional scratch & handicap singles brackets and high game / series pots.
8. Tournament Authority: The Tournament Director will have final say in all disputes, rules not covered here, or rules not covered by the USBC.
